About Us 

People Over Profit NYC is a movement rallying for healthcare reform and justice for Luigi Mangione. We seek to change the for-profit system that puts corporate interests above the well-being of ordinary Americans.

We are also concerned about Luigi Mangione’s right to a fair trial. From the now-infamous perp walk with NYC Mayor Eric Adams to multiple documentaries published (“Manhunt,” “Mind of a Killer”), there has been a consistent framing of Mangione as guilty. State terrorism charges and the looming threat of the federal death penalty are evidence of a system that selectively flexes its power to defend corporate interests.

We provide a space for like-minded people to connect, share information, and organize in the fight for healthcare reform. Here, you’ll find information on our actions, ways to get involved, and other networks that are fighting predatory corporate interests.

While we encourage advocacy, we do not condone the organization of illegal activities. You are welcome to share flyers and information about events, but the planning of unauthorized actions under the People Over Profit NYC name is strictly prohibited. Any unsanctioned event will not be protected or endorsed by this movement. Violating this policy may result in removal from our spaces.
